In short

Pulse does not collect, store or transmit any personal data.

There is no sign-up, no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no

advertising identifiers.

What the app processes

On-device data. The app stores locally on your device:

• a list of recently played stations (their identifiers only);
• technical settings for connecting to the station catalogue.

This data never leaves your device and is removed when the app is uninstalled.

Network requests. To show the station catalogue the app contacts the open

radio-browser.info service. To play audio it

connects directly to the server of the station you selected.

As with any internet request, those servers can see your device's IP address.

We do not control their logs and have no access to them. Their handling of that

data is governed by their own policies.

Permissions

• Internet — to load the catalogue and play the stream.
• Notifications — to show playback controls.
• Network state — to respond correctly when connectivity is lost.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no data about them. The

content of radio broadcasts is determined by the stations themselves; we have

no influence over it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear at this same address

along with a new date at the top of the document.
